The Commodore Plus/4 and Commodore C16 are brothers. Brothers, but the C16 is the little kiddo… Until this time! At időrégész.hu now available the world’s first sandwich type internal RAM upgrade to Commodore 16 with trace cutting not required at the mainboard! This version is the most elegant ram upgrade to your lovely Commodore C16!
The RAM upgrade panel has a tiny switch on the top, which can set the 16k/64k RAM to your machine easily. This way you can anytime go back to 16kb RAM, if needed.
Kit includes the pcb with pre-soldered multiplexer chips, 4 bit D41464 RAM chips (NEC, SAMSUNG, or other high quality, depending in our stock), four sockets (2×DIP16 and 2×DIP18 gold machined) for the mainboard, and a small wire with two connector. Please note: for installing average soldering skills required!
